gems girls clubs

Thursdays from 7 - 9 pm

GEMS Girls' Clubs seeks to equip women and girls to live radically faithful lives doing justice, loving mercy, and walking humbly with God.

Games, crafts, singing, badge work and Bible lessons are all planned to help the girls meet their Saviour.

GEMS is a program for girls ages 8 or grade 3 - 13 and meets Thursday nights from 7pm - 9pm, September through the beginning of May.

Gems begins Thursday, September 29th from 7-9 pm.

This years GEMS theme is: Act. Love. Walk. For girls who ask, “Do I matter? Does anyone see me? Can I make a difference?” GIRLS WONDER IF THEY HAVE A PURPOSE

But when a girl understands God created her with a purpose, for a purpose, everything changes. She will make a significant difference not just someday, but today..

Our College and Careers Group meets every other week on different days to accommodate schooling and careers.  They are currently doing a bible study called ‘Grace in the Wilderness’ which is a study on 1 Peter.  They also plan regular games and food nights.

It is a great night to learn more about God and share and learn from each other.

All are welcome.

Book Club

Join us for Book Club! The current book we are reading is Faultlines by Voddie T. Baucham Jr.  Copies of the book are given out and you will have a couple months to read through it.  Then we get together over breakfast and discuss thing like: what we loved about the book, things we might have disagreed with, and what we learned.  It is a great morning of learning and growing together.

The previous books we have read are: Live Not By Lies, The Gospel Comes With A House Key, Just Do Something, and Rediscover Church ~ Why the Body of Christ is essential.

All are welcome!!
